Each contestant, by signing the entry form and/or participation In the tournament, agrees to submit to a polygraph examination. 2. There will be a random polygraph tests given after the conclusion of the tournament. TEAM OR INDIVIDUAL: Team cannot not consist of more than two (2) anglers. You can fish alone one (1) Per boat if like. BOAT & MOTORS: 1. All boats must meet US Coast Guard & State Regulations. 2. Engine shall not exceed the maximum HP rating for the boat that’s used. 3. Boats must have a working aerated Live Well that is adequate to keep fish alive. TACKLE AND EQUIPMENT: 1. All bass must be caught on artificial bait by casting. No trolling with big motor. Contestant may use only one rod at any one time and other rods may be in the boat for substitute purpose. SAFETY: 1. All boats must be equipped with some type of emergency ignition cut-off device (Kill Switch) on any remote steered outboard while main engine is in use. 2. US Coast Guard approved life jackets are required for each person in boat. Life jackets must be worn and fastened while main engine is in use. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: No Alcoholic beverage are to be consumed by tournament contestant nor are alcoholic beverage allowed in contestants boat during official hours, unless tournament contestant is finished fishing/has had their boat inspection and polygraph for the tournament day. OFF LIMITS: There no off limits periods for this tournament. TRAILERING: Trailering is Allowed. Launch at your convenience. No fishing until official start time. START FISHING AT 6:45am and STOP at 3:00pm BIG BASS: Big Bass must be alive to be eligible for Big Bass Awards. DEAD FISH PENALTY: Dead bass weighed in will result in deduction of one (1) pound per fish. TIES: A tie will result in splitting the awards evenly. MINIMUM LENGTH: Minimum length of bass to be weighed in is 14” inches. If a team presents a bass that fails to meet the length limit, will result in loss of particular fish and one (1) pound penalty to the weight of the remaining fish. CULLING: No team may have more than five (5) fish in their possession at any time during official tournament hours. Culling dead fish is prohibited. LATE PENALTY: Late penalty will be one (1) pound per minute and after 15 minutes there will be automatic disqualification. PARTICIPATION & ELIGIBILITY: 1. Tournament is open to anyone 18 years or older. Participation under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or adult with a written permission. 2. Any fisherman currently fishing the Bassmaster Elite Series, MLF Bass Pro Tour, or the MLF Pro Circuit is not allowed to fish the event. 3. No License Guides or anyone who has guided in the last 90 days is Not Allowed To Fish. 4. Contestants must have a valid fishing license. 5. No Hole sitting by non competitors or anyone. 6. Tournament official have the right to refuse ant entry. 7. No cell phone usage except for emergency purpose only. 8. Any contestant found to be violation of any tournament rules and regulations will be disqualification from this tournament and future tournaments. 9. Each person in a boat must be a paid contestant of official tournament and abide by all tournament rules and regulations. 10. All State, Coast Guard, Federal Parks & Wildlife regulations shall apply at all times. DECISIONS 1. All Decisions of the Tournament Director are Final 2. All protest must be submitted to the Tournament Director in writing within 15 minutes of the designated weigh in. RULES FOR KIDS FISHING FROM THE BANK: 1. Only a Bass can be weighed in. 2. Only artificial baits can be used. 3. You can only fish around Cypress Bend Launch Area. 4. Fishing Starts at 10:00am and Stops at 1:00pm. 5. As soon as you catch your fish come weigh it in. 6. Smallest fish wins. 7. Only ages 3 to 15 can weigh fish. 8.
